作为设计产业重要组成部分的建筑装饰设计，经过30年发展已成为企业数万家、从业人员上百万、年产值逾千亿，并在中国经济中的拥有举足轻重地位的一个庞大产业。为了更好的促进行业发展，更好的服务于设计师和装饰设计企业选材，北京国际建筑装饰设计双年展自2011年成功举办后，得到了广大设计师和装饰企业的积极响应和支持。2013年北京国际建筑装饰设计双年展首次作为北京国际设计周的重要活动之一，将充分体现“绿色设计健康材料美丽装饰”的理念，为国内外建筑装饰设计机构、设计师与材料商搭建交流平台，助力建筑装饰行业的可持续发展，成为引领行业发展的“风向标”。

2013 Beijing International Architecture Decoration Design Biennale

Architectural Decoration Design is an important part of the design industry. After 30 years development, it has become an industry that has tens of thousands enterprises, millions of employees, over a thousand million of annual output value and a pivotal position in the Chinese economy. The first session of Beijing International Architecture Design Biennale was held in 2011, which is very successful and has got the positive response and support from majority of designers and decoration enterprise. First time as one of the important activities of Beijing International Design Week, 2013 Beijing International Architecture Decoration Design Biennale will fully embody the concept of “green design, healthy materials and beautiful decoration". To build a communication platform for domestic and foreign construction decoration and design agencies, designers and materials , to help the sustainable development of the building decoration industry to become the leading industry development " gauge ".
