古人造器物，追求“物以载道”。《长物志》序中写到：“几榻有度，器具有式，位置有定，贵其精而便，简而裁，巧而自然也。”古人家具陈设的旨趣，比之今天更为高明。明代家具“材美而坚，工朴而妍”其中传达的美学价值和古人师法自然的生活方式，如同恒古夜空中的明星，已经不是我们今日所能企及的了。“失物招领”更愿意把“齐家”系列，看作与明代家具的对话。明代家具的“度”，它的法则、标准、表现方式引发的一场思考，简朴但不简单，这其中有对明代家具的理解和提炼、简化和延伸，同时蕴藏着新的生命力。命名为“齐家”，意在延续千百年前的生活概念，以格物致志的精神，修身养性。

Chinese ancients made furniture following the traditional philosophy. To them, furniture are not just things people used every day, but the representation of the owner's virtue. Our ancestor made good use of wood. A chair from Ming dynasty, over forty delicate parts of it are all came from one tree. It kept the soul of that growing creature, became a valuable piece of work. For today, we learn from the tradition intensively. To simplify and purify the marvelous parts of Ming style furniture, and design a whole new series of pieces for the modern life named "Qi Jia". Inherit the spirit of life before thousands years: observe the world to acquire knowledge, and the create a harmonious in your home.
